Prepare To Bridge To BNB Chain
Confirm that you have the required wallet and tokens:
- Confirm that you have a compatible cryptocurrency wallet. Transporter supports MetaMask, MetaMask-compatible wallets (e.g. Rabby and Frame), Coinbase Wallet, and WalletConnect-enabled wallets. Smart contract wallets are also supported.
- Decide which assets you intend to bridge to BNB Chain, such as ETH, LINK, USDC, or other supported tokens.
- Verify that you have sufficient assets (the native token of the source blockchain or LINK) to cover the gas fees needed to process the transaction.
5 Steps To Bridge To BNB Chain
Step 1.
Go to transporter.io and select “Start bridging.” Within the Transporter app, click on “Connect wallet +” located in the upper right corner. Review and agree to the terms and conditions, then link your preferred wallet to the Transporter app.
Step 2.
Select the blockchain where your assets are currently held by choosing it in the "From" section. For example, if your assets are on the Ethereum blockchain and you wish to transfer them to BNB Chain, select “Ethereum Mainnet” to start.
Step 3.
To transfer your assets to BNB Chain, choose "BNB Chain Mainnet" as the destination blockchain. This choice can be found under the "To" section, as shown in the image below.
Step 4.
Select the desired token and enter the amount you want to transfer in the "Token" section.
Step 5.
After selecting your options, review the "Time to Destination" and "Fees + Destination Gas."
To initiate the transfer, click "Send" and approve the transaction in your wallet. You'll be directed to a screen displaying real-time updates on the transaction status.
Success
After completing all steps of the cross-chain transfer, you will receive a notification confirming that your tokens have been successfully transferred. You can then easily engage with the BNB Chain network, utilizing your assets on various applications.
